About me
I am living the island life in Galveston, Texas with my husband, 2 dogs and 6 rescued cats.
Besides painting, we own and operate an adorable 1908 cottage on AirBnb.
I studied Interior Design and Art at Texas State University, and practiced the ID for a few years, then found myself teaching after school art lessons to children for 16 years. Sometime during all that, I started painting pet portraits.
Commissioning a pet portrait makes one of the best gifts you could give yourself or someone else, and I would love the opportunity to create an original painting that you, a friend or family member will cherish forever.
I work from your own candid photos that you send me via email. We choose the best suited for the portrait, and then I get started! I can usually get a portrait completed within two weeks. My busiest time is the holiday season, so think of those gifts for family and friends way ahead of time.
